- In the run up to the Nintendo Switch's release date of March 3, Nintendo have announced three pop-up events across the U.S. where players can find a living-room style space with a Switch set up for play in completely unexpected places.
- The first event is invite-only, and will take place on 23 February at Blue Cloud Movie Ranch, CA. WWE Superstar and actor John Cena will also be there as a special guest, playing with invited fans and YouTube influencers.
- The second event will take place Aspen, Colorado, on 27 February at Snowmass ski resort. The third will happen on launch day, 3 March, in Madison Square Park in New York. Both of these events will be open to the public.
