What You Need to Know:

• If you thought Osomatsu fever was over, think again. The anime may be over (for now) but the classic comeback comedy series has already had a new manga, a series of mobile games, a PS Vita game, and countless rounds of merchandise.
• Now, a 3DS game has been announced for the series, titled Osomatsu-san: Matsumatsuri!. The game will go on sale on 22 December this year.
• The regular and download versions will be ¥4,800 (around 48 USD) with a limited edition available for ¥6,800 (68 USD). A special Animate limited edition with the 3DS included will also be available for ¥24,800 (248 USD).
• What kind of game it will be, however, is yet to be revealed.

• It's been a few weeks since we last got an update from much-anticipated PS VR game, Summer Lesson, when we got the very first PV.

Your position as the player is the home tutor for Hikari Miyamoto, who is preparing for a test at the end of her summer holidays, in one week's time. The game will take place over the span of seven days. The results of your tutoring will affect which ending you get. Each day starts at a cafe which you (the player) visit. The lesson plan acts as the main menu for the game. Each morning, you must choose which subject out of five total to focus on to get the results you want. Once you've prepared for the lesson, it's time to get started! The subject you choose affects what actions Hikari can take. How you watch over her learning has an effect on the day's results. The results for the day are shown on a report card. At the end of the lesson, you can see your overall progress and how well Hikari is doing. What result will you get? You'll have to wait until the release date to find out!

• Ah, the weird and wonderful world of otome games. Whereas most romance games aimed at women might stretch to a slightly fantasy setting or the odd adventure, some are just way out there. Take for example the latest in the WTF Japan franchise: Uma no Prince-sama.
• Yes, we wrote that right. Clearly a play on the super-popular Uta no Prince-sama, this latest mobile game offers quite a different dating simulation experience... You see, these aren't singing princes. Oh no. They're horses.
• Whether they're really human, a very strange breed of centaur, or the protagonist has just had a bit too much sake isn't clear at this point, but one thing is for sure - this is hilarious.

Based on the sister store of Wagnaria, we see again another set of interesting (weird) characters! The characters in the previous seasons featured the main character with a minicon fetish, a coworker that is terrified of men, and the fairly violent floor manager. What kind of characters will they show us next? Can it possibly get any stranger than this?

2. It was featured as an April Fools' joke?

Did you know that it was featured as an April Fools' joke? A PV was released announcing a second season, but it was only a joke, but the response of the people was so great that they made it into a reality! It's proof that the series is good!

3. The love lines in WORKING!!

What slice-of-life anime doesn't have love lines? In WORKING!!, the main characters Souta and Mahiru nearly drove us crazy with the it's-obvious-they-like-each-other-but-they-will-never-admit-it moments. Will we see a similar angle this season as well?

4. The characters might actually be based on real-life people?

Many of the things featured in the series are real-life objects. Is it possible that the characters as well are based on real people? We are just dying to know!

5. But of course, awesome theme songs!

Sometimes the OP and ED makes or breaks an anime series. With the female cast singing the opening theme, and the male cast singing the ending theme, it's just the icing on the cake of a very interesting anime. As the Japanese fans say, there are no excuses not to watch!!!

Sangatsu no Lion

Rei Kiriyama is a professional shogi player who lost his parents at a young age. Now he lives with the three Kawamoto sisters as he battles with the struggles of daily life. With the life-like scenes of the opposite station scene, the nostalgic atmosphere of Shitamachi where the story is based, and the comforting charm of the sisters and food, the story has won the Kodansha Manga Award, among others. 2. Tiger Mask W

The third reanimation of the series by the legendary Naoki Tsuji, the story revolves around two pro-wrestlers who experienced different situations in life but with one goal: to destroy Tora no Ana. How will they fight for the same goal if they are enemies as well? Real-life wrestlers -Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Yuuji Nagata - were also involved in the making. 3.Heybot!

This was an original contents project by Bandai and Namco. The story follows two Bokyabots, Hebot and Prince Nejiru, who wear Bokya Screws on their heads and engage in gag battles. Since it airs at 7AM, with its abundance of crude jokes like farting, fundoshis, and the like, it will surely wake you up with its continuous gags.

4. Udon no Kuni no Kiniro no Kemari

The story follows Souta Tawara, a web designer who returns to his hometown inKagawa Prefecture after his father's death, where he meets a strange "child" Poko. The main character's voice actor is Yuuichi Nakamura. Since the main character speaks mainly in Sanuki dialect (Kagawa Prefecture), it makes sense that the voice actor should also be from the region. 5. ALL OUT!

With more than 15 players, rugby has more-than-the-usual number of players. Put in this sports anime with each player showing a different quirk such as the tiny but fierce main character Kenji Gion, timid giant (190cm!) Iwashimizu, or the hot-blooded captain with the crazy hairstyle Sekizan. • It was exactly one month ago today that we broke the news that KING OF PRISM -PRIDE the HERO-, the next movie in the King of Prism series, was confimed and coming June 2017!
• Today, they have revealed a snippet of the story as well as the Key Visual for the movie. It appears to show someone ice skating? Did this seires and fall ice skating anime, Yuri!! on ICE get mixed?
• The story teases that this time, it it set on the stage of the PRISM KING CUP which only occurs once every 4 years. Aiming to be the next generation of prism stars, various individual boys will aim to become the "Prism King" while going through various trials and difficulties. We will have to wait for more information!

• Kimi no Na Wa is clearly the movie of the year in Japan. With it's explosive popularity and more, it has really done well for itself. The official sales numbers have been released confirming some news that we were kinda expecting. Sadly(?), it did not overtake Studio Ghibli's Gake no Ue no Ponyo (Ponyo) and is currently ranked 6th of all anime movies of all time. Ponyo raked in 1,550,000,000 yen just outperforming Kimi no Na Wa.
• It has been confirmed that Kimi no Na Wa has made over 1,500,000,000 yen at the box office alone. For reference, that is one billion, five hundred million yen or approximately 14.42 million USD. The original projected figure was maybe about 1/10th of it at around 1.4 million USD gross as the total income. However, clearly the movie has hit their expectations right out of the park.
• There is no sign of it stopping either, as it has been given a live stage play, guaranteed to do well, musical cds, as well as various novels that you can see on the light novel charts that are crushing everything that debuts each week now for almost 2-3 months. It should also be noted that more than 10 million people have seen the movie, and it is estimated currently that the other forms of media will continue to sell quickly. Have you seen it yet?

• It has been revealed that seinen horror manga Higanjima will be getting a short anime adaptation on YouTube and Nico Nico starting 15 October.
• The story follows Akira Miyamoto as he sets out to save his older brother from a vampire-inhabited island with a mysterious girl and his friends - but it seems they won't escape the island of Higanjima so easily.

• City Hunter made it's debut in 1985, and ran till 1991. The action & comedy police-esque series was given four anime series, four anime movies, and two OVAs. However it has also adapted into a live action movie from Hong Kong in 1991 and most recenly it was turned into a very famous South Korean Drama in 2011.
• The company, North Starts Pictures which is also known as Coamix, has announced that China will be getting this movie either in December of 2018 or some time after that. While it is more than two years away, it is a lasting testament to how popular this series is. It has been more than 5 years since the drama, but it is still popular enough to be selected for yet another adapataion.
• It has also been announced that the main character will be played by Huang Xiaoming. You can check out his picture below!

• It has been announced that Toei Animation will be teaming up with DMM VR Theater to bring One Piece into virtual reality.
• The project includes a completely original new work set to come out in 2017, as well as a VR version of the Holohraphic Battle Theatre that was extremely popular in Odaiba back in 2014.
• The One Piece Theater will also have a limited edition collaboration cafe starting this November in Yokohama to celebrate and support the new VR project.
